Your Mission Impossible Situation: A shadowy paramilitary unit has chosen you for a covert mission behind enemy lines. Only the best-trained agents will be able to survive the mission, so your training must be thorough and intense. You will be taken to a secret training base somewhere in Arizona, where a hand-picked cadre of Green Berets and private soldiers of fortune from the world’s toughest spec ops units will teach you all the actual skills needed for this operation…and to stay alive.

Everything from high speed evasive driving, combat pistol shooting, unarmed self-defense, espionage techniques, and counter-surveillance to hostage rescue and more. This is not a video game and the training is absolutely real.
Once you've gained admittance by the armed guard at the gate — don’t expect to see the ‘real’ world again until your transformation is complete.

Dear Maverick member,
Trust me, this is NOT for the faint of heart…
The skills you will learn here are REAL….the worst-case scenarios are TRUE…and the training could save your life or your family’s life.
But push that all aside because this is your chance to live the cloak and dagger life you have only seen in movies or read about in thrillers. And if you want to spend 3 days totally kicking ass, piling up enough stories for years to come…
When you graduate this training, you will be granted the title of "Maverick Special Agent" and will gain a new heightened security clearance. Here’s what you can look forward to:
Bootcamp Phase 1: Intelligence
Your training begins with the essential "Intel" you will need to survive as a special operative. First, you will learn a "field expedient" cipher system that you will use to encode and decode messages. This will be crucial, as you will be given scenarios on day three using this cipher system.
Next, you will be given an intelligence briefing on the structure and phases of terrorist organizations and operations. This will help you identify and triangulate the location of the terrorist operations and how best to interdict.
Bootcamp Phase 2: Weapons and Close Quarters Battle
You will learn the fundamentals of the CQB (Close Quarters Battle) combat pistol system. Originally developed by the British SAS and adopted by almost every major counter-terrorist unit in the world. CQB is not like target shooting, you will move and shoot under stress, make dynamic room entries and engage multiple targets, learn to use the pistol as a real offensive weapon.
The Green Berets and Delta Force instructors will show you their professional secrets of proper stance, grip, sighting and ballistics. And as you gain proficiency with your weapon, you will learn techniques for room entry and clearing… starting with "submunitions" and then with live fire.
Black belt instructors will teach you to defend yourself from enemy attack even if you are unarmed. You’ll be privy to devastatingly simple techniques to disarm an assailant with a knife or gun which really work on the street.
Bootcamp Phase 3: Evasive Driving
In this phase of your training, you will learn the principles, tactics and techniques of Evasive Driving. (This is the same kind of training that police and special agents receive, and what you’ve seen 007 do in the movies!)
Most people don’t realize it, but with the proper skills, your vehicle can be your most important asset for your protection, evasion and even offensive tactics.
The skills you learn in this phase of your training will provide the final tool in your Spec-Ops arsenal.
Whether negotiating reckless drivers in your every-day commute, or in the worst-case scenario of being pursued by violent aggressors, this isn’t just an experience… It’s a life-long skill that will help you to protect yourself and your family for years to come.
In The Evasive Driving Course You Will Learn:
Phase 4: Field Practice & Graduation - Force on Force Scenarios
Now that your training is complete, everything you’ve been taught is combined into a series of real-world “force on force” scenarios that may involve kidnappings, assassination attempts, ambushes and other wild surprises!

Additional Q&A:
Q: Is the training for real?
A: Absolutely! All the trainers are ex-military special operations. Green Beret, Delta Force and paid mercenaries
that have participated in highly classified activities. You can get a full listing of your
commanders here.
Q: Do I get to fire a real gun?
A: Yes. On the firing range, you will be issued safety goggles and earplugs and shown how to safely load and fire a
9 mm hand gun. Our expert instructors will then teach you to shoot, using the Close Quarter Battle System. For
live-fire exercises, paintball weapons are used.
Q: Can I bring my own gun?
A: No. For safety reasons, all students are required to use equipment supplied by Covert Ops.
Q: Do I need to be able to drive a car with manual (standard) transmission?
A: No. Our vehicles feature automatic transmissions. You should have a driver's license valid in your home country.
Q: Do I need to be in great physical shape to participate?
A: No. The program is open to adults of all ages. You must only be in reasonably good health.
Q: What is the training facility like?
Built in the WWII era as an Army-Air Corps training base and later used by other government agencies, the
facility is completely fenced, with armed guards at the gates for security purposes. The base is completely
self-contained, with comfortable housing, a cafeteria- style restaurant serving three meals a day, a swimming
pool and a Covert Ops Officers Club for relaxation.
The base has state of the art training facilities including classrooms and a martial arts dojo.
There are three separate shooting ranges, each with multiple stations. The driving track is a 1.2 mile asphalt road course with an extra-wide straightaway and a large skid pad for plenty of room for evasive exercises. The off road track is .7 mile and incorporates all off-road conditions, turns, drops and jumps for an exciting ride while engaging terrorist targets.
Q: Will I stay in barracks?
A: Sort of. Although officially known as "barracks," rooms at the facility resemble small dormitory rooms. Each
room is equipped with a twin bed, desk, small dresser and lamp. You may be required to share a connecting bathroom
with another Covert Ops participant. Pay phones are located near each barracks building.
Q: What type of special clothing do I need?
A: No special clothing is required. We suggest you bring comfortable clothing, suitable to a variety of
temperatures and weather conditions. (Covert Ops activities go on, rain or shine.)
Q: Can I bring my camera?
A: Yes, however you may only take photos in designated Covert Ops training areas. Most areas of the
training facility are "classified." Anyone caught taking photos outside designated Covert Ops areas will
have camera and film confiscated.
