Dear Friend,
Quite frankly the phrase "once-in-a-lifetime" gets tossed around so much these days it’s lost any exceptional meaning. Maybe you even roll your eyes a bit when you hear it. I know I do.
I almost hate to use the phrase here — but this truly is one of those "once-in-a-lifetime" experiences...
May 15-20, 2009 Maverick Business Adventures® together with Joe Polish and Dean Graziosi’s Centurion MasterMind Group will be hosting an event that will be nothing short of spectacular.
However, before we get into what it’s all about I have to warn you — only a small percentage of entrepreneurs are even eligible to participate in this, and out of that percentage, even fewer will ever get the chance.
The purpose of this letter is for you to decide if you’re one of them...
Let’s get the criteria out the way first and foremost:
Qualification #1
You must be a successful, forward-thinking business owner, entrepreneur or high-achiever. This event is strictly for top-gun entrepreneurs only. (On average, our members and attendees coming are involved in multiple 7-figure businesses to 8 and 9-figure businesses.)
Qualification #2
You are willing to share your business successes openly and candidly with other attendees. (Each member will adhere to a confidentiality agreement so you do not need to worry about competitors.) Qualified participants will also be selected for what they 'bring to the table' and it's important that you're willing to share your unique skills, resources and knowledge.
Qualification #3
You cannot be a jerk with a huge ego! This is a pretty simple qualification and you know if it applies to you. We don't accept just anyone who can stroke a check. If your head is the size of the Goodyear Blimp and you can't get it through the door or you want everyone to kowtow to you -- this is definitely not the place for you.
Qualification #4
You must be thankful for the success you have. A certain amount of humility is essential to enjoying the experience. You must also be able to have fun, and not take yourself too seriously. Music, cocktails great conversation and laughs are all a part of this event as well.
Qualification #5
You must be able to afford to come. Yes, this final qualification certainly separates the pack since the admission fee is $40,000 (or $75,000 if you’d like to bring a spouse or business associate). I realize the fee could be considered substantial by some people though you’d be hard pressed not to have a significant return on your investment here if you’re the right type of entrepreneur.
However, so you understand ALL money goes to paying for the island first, and then the rest of the money is given as a charitable donation to Virgin Unite — the not-for-profit entrepreneurial foundation of The Virgin Group. (We don’t keep a PENNY!)
Actually coming together for Virgin Unite is another significant part of this experience because the entrepreneurs we’re looking for are the ones out to make a real difference.
A core belief at Virgin Unite is that...
"Business has the capacity to improve the human condition – the same visionary thinking and problem-solving skills that make entrepreneurs successful can be channeled into solving the world’s social and environmental crises."
Virgin Unite looks to find long-term solutions (rather than the more common band-aid quick fixes). And every dollar given goes to work because Sir Richard Branson and the Virgin companies pay all the charities overhead and expenses.
That’s it for the preliminary filters — if you’re still onboard then let me...
Welcome You To Your Ultimate Entrepreneurial Paradise!

Necker Island...
The breath-taking home of Richard Branson — founder of Virgin Records, Virgin Air, Virgin Galactic ... and one of today’s most inspiring forward-thinkers.
And for six days and five nights in May, this jewel of the British Virgin Islands ... favored by such past visitors as Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Michael Douglas, and Prince Charles ... Google founders Larry Page & Sergey Brin and many others... now it will be home to a very small, very select, very privileged group of Maverick entrepreneurs!
This is the place — and the experience — that clichés were made for. No single superlative can live up to the reality of Necker Island ... and the Maverick Business Adventure® taking place here this spring.
Here, you’ll awaken when you want each morning, in a sumptuous four-poster bed ... pad across the exotic hardwood floor, polished to a chestnut gleam ... saunter out onto your private balcony ... and be greeted by a postcard-perfect tropical scene you’ll never tire of.
You can start the day with an incredible breakfast, prepared by master chefs on one of the outside terraces. Get a massage or relax and take in the beauty around you. Or maybe take in an early morning swim with Richard Branson around the island.
Then join in a morning brainstorm or business session where you and the world’s top entrepreneurs, share their best-kept secrets to help each other. Whether it's going to the next level in your business, or resolving a specific challenge...it's a solution "think tank."

Sir Richard Branson engaged with fellow entrepreneurs in a high-level brainstorming session at the Great House
There's truly no place else where you can get this kind of experience. You can then enjoy a Sushi lunch in the lower pool. Yes, literally IN the pool — check out the video below from my previous visit.
Afterwards perhaps your schedule might yield to an afternoon snorkel or sail boat ride. Or really be Mavericks and try kite boarding or wake-boarding.
Then, if you like, maybe you hit another brainstorm session before dinner, or go back to your incredible room and spend some alone time before enjoying another outstanding meal, at one of several brilliant spots on the island.

After dinner, it’s time for drinks and socializing ... maybe even a little "shop talk" if you like. And once a week, you party to the sounds of a local Calypso band, brought in by boat exclusively to entertain you for the evening.
Here’s what one participant from last years Necker experience had to say:
"$100K a Week in Additional Sales!"
"...Frankly, there were two or three things that came out of this that — these aren’t B.S. numbers I’m throwing out — $100K a week we have grossed additional in sales since last time. This time... there’s contacts that I really believe if we execute properly, there could be two or three times that on a weekly basis."
Steve Thorne, Professional Marketing International
Now before we take a more detailed look at all you’ll be doing in your six days here, let me tell you...
A Little More About Necker Island...
When Richard Branson first laid eyes on Necker Island, twenty-five years ago, it was undeveloped and uninhabited. But, as with everything else in his world, Branson (visionary that he is) didn’t see it only as it was — he saw what it could be — a private world for him and his guests.
The landscape is one of dramatic contrasts: Snow-white sandy beaches punctuating craggy headlands … lush hillsides rising to rocky ridges capped with cactus ... and the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean washing reefs teeming with amazing sea life in a variety of colors and shapes.
Pelicans, doves, hummingbirds, and more are everywhere on Necker. In fact, with the increase in species due to the fresh water from its desalination plant, part of the island has been designated a bird sanctuary. Even pink flamingos abound as well.
The location for the Great House — at the very top of Devil's Hill — was chosen for its breath-taking views in every direction. The design and construction perfectly convey the look and feel of another island paradise — Bali.
"I wanted the house to become the apex of Devil's Hill, as if it grew out of the rock," says Branson.
"Where possible, we use natural materials from the island in construction — the main walls of the house are built from stone removed from the top of the hill, and much of the timber is locally grown."
The roof however was built in Brazil, taken apart for shipping, then reassembled on location. The flooring is from Yorkshire and, to ensure the authentic feel of the Balinese design, most of the furniture and fabrics were handmade in Bali and transported to Necker.
The Great Room of the house — the social hub of the island — boasts the most amazing views all round: the Caribbean, the Atlantic, and some of the neighboring Virgin Islands. Here you can shoot some snooker, play the piano, or lounge with fellow Mavericks to discuss business or the day’s activities.
Surrounding the Great Room is an outdoor terrace complete with comfy sofa, hammocks (for the ultimate "Island feel") and even a large infinity-edge swimming pool.
With a Staff of 31, you and your fellow guests are always out-numbered by those whose purpose is to pamper you with first class service, and catering to your every whim.
Necker Island is refreshingly "out of step" with the rest of the world.
Here’s The Business Side Of Things…
Of course, it’s not all fun-and-games here. There’s work to be done ... so let’s have a look at how your time on Necker Island can make this your greatest year yet:
- Big-League connections and deal making. Because you’re here with other like-minded, big-dreaming, forward-thinking entrepreneurs and business people, you feel a kinship and a shared spirit ... and have no trouble at all finding new ideas or that much-needed partner. You won’t know till you get here who you’ll find … but due to our strict qualification process, you’re assured of spending your time here with only the most successful entrepreneurs — each with "the right attitude". And since we’re all here looking for ways to push our businesses to the next level and beyond, you’re never more than a glance away from some high-level brainstorming and a possible "next big deal".
Our Maverick Business Adventures® always bring together such a varied mix of backgrounds and perspectives … it’s like a fresh shot of DNA injected into the Business Gene Pool!
- Powerful (but relaxed and informal) business-building sessions every day. We’ll gather to share ideas, help each other work out challenges, brainstorm new opportunities, and swap resources … all in the strictest confidentiality. (In fact, every member will sign an agreement to keep everything discussed confidential!) And since some of the biggest breakthroughs occur when ideas are borrowed from one industry and applied to another, any member not participating in the discussion will be … "dis-invited". Leveraging the power of this "brain trust" can accelerate your business growth many times over!
- PLUS … unheard-of access to billionaire business mogul, Richard Branson! Yes, Sir Richard has agreed to spend as much time with our group as he possibly can — lunch at the pool … dinner in the Great House … even partaking in adventure activities. Due to his busy schedule Richard is slated to be on island for 3 full
days and will be throwing himself fully into our activities,
adventures and recreation time together. He’s there to mingle, chat,
answer your questions … and generally do what he can to help. You’ll
be able to sit down with him and pick his brain over that big
challenge you’ve been facing … right in his own home! Where else is
this possible?

A gracious and easy-going host, happy to just hang out and share a drink with his guests … you’ll measure your time with Richard in hours, rather than a few fleeting minutes or just a token picture!
In fact, Richard’s sense of humor and authenticity is incredibly inspiring. If you see the picture on the right-hand side that’s me getting "kicked off" Necker Island. Remind me to tell you that story when we meet.
And Now The Fun Side…
There is so much you can do when you want a break from "business".
- Taking the plunge in either of two fresh water swimming pools
- Soak out the knots in one of two Jacuzzis (or have them worked out for you with an out-of-this-world four-hand massage!)
- Play tennis on either of two floodlit tennis courts
- Try kite-boarding (Join me and we’ll learn in the same place Larry Page from Google got hooked on kite-boarding.)
- Work out in Necker’s fully-equipped gym
- Go windsurfing (equipment is available right here!)
- Put those warm Caribbean breezes to good use on a Sunfish, Laser or Catamaran sailboat
- Explore the teeming sea life of the reef (there’s enough snorkeling gear for everyone!)
- Do some “water rebounding” on the Aqua trampoline
- Get out there on the water skis
- Challenge the surf in sea kayaks
- Grab some of the supplied tackle and go fishing (not deep sea)
- Take a boat excursion to see some of the neighboring islands
- Kick back in the evening with a beach bonfire
- Form teams and play volleyball
- … or just laze around, soaking up the rays on one of the beautiful palm-lined beaches.
As well, for those times when you need to "get away" and just let it all soak in … there are plenty of spiritually uplifting spots throughout the island where you can escape alone for some peaceful meditation or yoga.
Lifetime Memories Way Beyond Your Trip
Have a permanent record of your adventure for posterity – Our goal at Maverick Business Adventures® is to create the kind of experience you can’t stop talking about for years to come … and memories that last a lifetime and beyond! That’s why we’re bringing in a professional videographer/photographer to document everything for you.
Following the trip you will be presented a professionally-produced DVD montage of your days and nights on Necker Island … PLUS a beautiful hard-cover album filled with photographs from this one-of-a-kind adventure.
Imagine the reaction your friends will have when you come back and show them photos and videos of your incredible experience.
Plus, you’ll also get recordings from the business side of the trip. You’ll get recordings of the "What’s working" idea-sharing sessions and the bonus session with Richard Branson. This exclusive information will be something you can return to over and over again and share with your team to grow your bottom line!
You’ll Be Absolutely Amazed By What Comes Out Of It!
Just listen to what participants of past Maverick Business Adventures® say about some of the past experiences:
"This was not only the most fun I’ve ever had on a vacation, period, but to add the business contacts on top of it was like a free bonus. Everybody needs to get away from the desk, right? We all work extremely hard ... but we all love what we do and it's very easy to get caught up in that and to overlook little things like actually taking time off. So this was the first time that I took off four days without actually checking e-mail or my phone in nine years, and it was awesome. There’s no reason not to come. It's a tax write-off; it's a fantastic adventure, the best trip I've ever been on, and the business contacts you’re going to make are amazing."
— Mike Dillard, TX (Online Business)
"This has been absolutely a top ten experience in my life — transformational and inspiring. If you have any doubts about whether you should come or not, just for the fun alone it was tremendous. But way more valuable than the fun were the connections and the camaraderie.
"I’d be shocked if I didn't generate at least a million dollars in the next 12 months from the ideas and tactics I learned from other people there, as well as from the new relationships and partnerships that I am going to pursue after this event. It has been life-changing and awesome."
— Drew Kossoff, CA (Media Business)
"I was pretty surprised when I came down " I showed up to help them but they're actually helping me. Successful people surround themselves with successful people and people who want them to succeed. And there are no egos here. All these guys are happy to give up information and help each other out. I think it's a good environment to be in."
— Jesse James (West Coast Choppers)
"The perfect mix of high-octane fun, relaxation and networking! I can't recommend MBA enough."
— Tim Houston, AffiliateLifestyle.com (Online)
"My first Maverick trip has not only been one of the most exciting trips of my life, but also an opportunity to meet some of the most brilliant business minds around. The friendships and contacts I've made from this trip are literally priceless. Overall, this entire experience far exceeded my expectations and is worth much more than the price tag."
— Mike Geary, Founder, TruthAboutAbs.com (Online business)
"Takes the cliché ‘Work Hard…Play Hard!’ to a whole new level..."
— Mike Lally, PCB Group (Manufacturing business)

It’s A Once-In-A-Lifetime Experience…
But It’s NOT For Everyone
If you’re ready to find the ideal place where you can recharge your batteries, enlarge your thinking, and do the kind of brainstorming and problem-solving that can make a real, profound difference in both yourself, your business and even the world — then you just might be ready for this Maverick Business Adventures® Necker Island Experience.
I guarantee this will be a life-changing and business-changing event for you. But remember…It is not just about who can cut a check, it’s about having the right people there. One more important thing I need to mention…
There is good news and bad news...
The good news is to maximize your business connections — this is a joint event with Maverick members, and Joe Polish and Dean Graziosi’s Centurion MasterMind. If any of you spent time with Joe during our Baja adventure — you knows he’s got an incredible array of business and marketing insights. If Dean’s name sounds familiar it might be because you’ve seen him on late TV. He is bringing in 7figures+ per week with his infomercial empire.
Now the bad news is since this is a joint experience each of us have a smaller amount of spots available. There are 20 spots in total and we each get an allotment of 7-8. So if you want in — you need to let us know right away to reserve your spot.
Now if you still have any remaining questions you can call Kim Jacobson at +1-240-744-0165 or email her direct at kim@maverickbusinessadventures.com
I look forward to seeing you on Necker Island!
All the best,

Yanik Silver,
Founder & CEO, Maverick Business Adventures®
P.S. Quite frankly, nobody looks back on their life and wishes they had spent more time at the office. Your life is quite literally the sum of your experiences. A collection of rich experiences equals a rich life! This is your chance to create the kind of memories and friendships that will stay with you forever! And to form the stories you'll tell for years and years to come! It's up to you.
P.P.S. Here’s a note Joe received from our trip to Necker last year from Richard Rossi:

Additional Q & A
Q. Can I bring an associate or partner from my business?
A. Yes you can. We offer a $5,000 discount for a total price of $75,000.
Q. Can a spouse or companion come?
A. Absolutely once again we offer a $5,000 discount for a total price of $75,000.
Q. How much time will Sir Richard Branson spend with us?
A. Last year Richard was part of nearly every lunch and dinner and drinks afterwards. Plus a special brainstorming session. Due to his busy schedule Richard is slated to be on island for 3 full days and will be throwing himself fully into our activities, adventures and recreation time together.
Q. Who else is coming?
A. Rest assured it’ll only be top-gun entrepreneurs and forward thinkers. Looking over the confirmed registrants you’ve got everyone from Dean Graziosi., who brings in $1.5M/week with his infomercial to Aymen B., who has the 5th most downloaded Facebook application bringing in $100k/day online.
Maverick members are recognized as the top of their respective professions ranging from online pioneers, INC 500 companies, multi-national manufacturers, heads of financial institutions, and reknowned experts … to International real estate developers and restaurateurs. This kind of diversity leads to new ways of looking at your own business, and to breakthroughs otherwise wouldn’t likely occur.
Q. Do I need to be a Maverick Business Adventures® member to attend?
A. No you do not. This is a special joint experience with Centurion MasterMind and you are not required to be a Maverick member to participate (though first preference for our allotment of spots is given to Maverick members in good standing.)
Q. Why does it cost $40,000 to attend? Couldn’t I rent the island myself for less?
A. Yes and no. Necker Island is available for rental direct however it
does include our host, Sir Richard Branson. While he does reside on
the island full-time he does not make it a typical occurrence to spend
significant amounts of time engaged in business or recreation with the
guests. What’s more, ALL money goes to paying for the island first,
and then the rest of the money is given as a charitable donation to
Virgin Unite — the not-for-profit entrepreneurial foundation of The
Virgin Group. (We don’t keep a PENNY!)
Q. Can I bring my laptop, cell phone, iPhone, blackberry, etc to stay in touch with the office?
A. You can if you like … but quite frankly this is the perfect time to truly disconnect and re-energize yourself, without "bringing the office along".
Q. Is this really tax deductible?
A. One of the main purposes of each trip is to dramatically grow your bottom line so it should be tax deductible. Of course, you should check with your Accountant or tax professional for their final say.
Please call +1-240-744-0165 to secure your spot or ask any remaining questions
