Dear Maverick Member,

If you want to be part of a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience…the 2010 World Cup in South Africa together with Safari at Sir Richard Branson’s private game reserve, Ulusaba. Plus, optional Great White shark cage dive and Class V Zambezi rafting! We need to hear from you right away…

Quite frankly, there’s no time to lose because of the frenzied demand for World Cup tickets – we’ve already committed to an iron-clad contract with an authorized ticket agent and purchased 2 extra spots. So that means if you want to be part of this we need to hear from you right away.

Let me give you the current details as I have it – obviously some of this still needs to be finalized since the unique experience is 9 months away – but the exclusive nature of the trip forces us to get this long-term commitment from you

First of all, this experience is centered around the World Cup!...

Every 4 years the world comes together for the largest and most beloved sporting event. For many it might be a little hard to grasp but the World Cup is like the Super Bowl, the Olympics and one huge party all wrapped into one.

Considering, this is the very first World Cup ever held on the African continent and it promises to be an awe-invoking experience even if you’re not a die-hard soccer fan.

You’ll Attend The 2 Toughest Matches to Get Tickets For:
Both the Semi-Finals & The Finals…

As a Maverick member you’ll get premiere VIP access to a Semi-Finals match and then the ultimate match, the one the whole world will be watching, the Finals on July 11, 2010 in Johannesburg.

We have secured category one premiere VIP tickets and access (which is the best available however we will not know our exact seat location until much closer to the matches). Plus, as a special bonus we’ll get to hang out with one of the top U.S. soccer icons during part of the game. You’ll get real-world insight into what’s really happening on the field and in the heads of these world-class athletes.

Team Italy celebrating their dramatic shoot-out win over France in the finals of the previous World Cup. You’ll be there to witness the next World Cup champion at the FINAL match

This is not like any other sporting event and getting tickets is not like firing up Ticketmaster.com and ordering them. You need to work with an accredited Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) ticketing agency or be lucky enough to win a ticketing lottery because the allotment of tickets is always significantly less than the demand. What’s more, scalpers and unscrupulous ticket brokers will tell you they can get you tickets but charge you an arm and a leg if they’re even legitimate.

Now I want to be completely transparent here and reveal the cost of tickets are $8,000 per person. We are not intending to make money on the tickets or mark them up in anyway. And that’s why we need your confirmation. The FIFA accredited ticket agency requires payment 30 days after we sign the binding contract. There are no refunds on our part or exchanges. We commit – we’re on the hook.

“Whoa! $8,000 Just for World Cup Tickets… How Much Is This Whole Trip?”

Like I said at the beginning this is an exclusive adventure for a small, select group of our members. So before I give you the final number – I want to give you a snapshot of what this incredible experience will entail in addition to World Cup. First, the caliber and logistics of this trip demand…

Transfer and Travel by Private Jet

In order to provide the highest-level luxury, safety and convenience you’ll travel around the African continent from each of our destinations to destination via private jet for nearly your entire journey. (Note: The only leg that may not be a private charter is Cape Town to Johannesburg for the finals and if this occurs the cost per person will be reduced.)

Your first extraordinary section of your journey begins here…

Sir Richard Branson’s Private Game Reserve: Ulusaba
July 2nd – 5th, 2010:

Your South Africa excursion starts with a private jet transfer from Johannesburg to Sir Richard Branson’s private game reserve, Ulusaba set in the heart of the Sabi Sand reserve on the border of the Kruger National Park in South Africa. We’ve secured the entire Safari Lodge for Maverick members.

Built along the banks of the dry Mabrak riverbed. The rooms are built ‘tree house’ style and you really get the feeling of being in the heart of life in the Bush. Your room will provide amazing views of the animals as they stroll past on their way to the nearby watering hole. All the rooms have their own private deck and you’ll love the sense of adventure as you access most rooms by rope-bridge

Note: As you can imagine the demand for the Ulusaba game reserve during World Cup is sky high. Just this morning, I was informed Microsoft bought up an entire Safari private reserve for several weeks leaving zero available space.

Your Authentic African Bush Adventure Awaits

A ranger and tracker will take you on a game drive twice a day and you can take a daily-guided walking safari too! You can learn all about Ulusaba as you go along from their experienced knowledgeable team. From the moment you set out, you’ll feel the adrenaline rush as you anticipate the wild life you may encounter just as they should be…wild. Lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalo – they’re all there – as well as giraffes, zebras, cheetahs, hippos and more. Africa is renowned throughout the world for it’s incredible wildlife and you’ll get a chance to take it all in.

As you can imagine, as Sir Richard Branson’s private game reserve you’re greeted with authentic luxury appointments and hospitality throughout your stay. You can view http://www.ulusaba.virgin.com for you to get even more details on this incredible destination.

Young Entrepreneur Session at the
Branson School of Entrepreneurship

Next you’ll leave Ulusaba via private jet again to a different environment touched by Sir Richard Branson, his school of entrepreneurship in Johannesburg. As you know, Maverick Business Adventures® is not only built around unique experiences and high-level business connections – but philanthropy and “giving forward” to the next generation of Maverick entrepreneurs.

Several of our members have already been working one-on-one with students from the Branson School of Entrepreneurship and this should be quite a memorable meeting.

Note: When the Branson School was launched in October 2005, it was the first time, anywhere in the world; Sir Richard Branson lent his personal name to a project.

As a Maverick member you’ll have the opportunity to take part in an optional session set aside for teaching young and aspiring entrepreneurs at the Branson School during the South Africa experience. In fact, it’s this unique "giving forward" aspect that many members love the most.

Depending on time available this session will include the following:

  • Round table discussions with Maverick members shattering common myths and excuses
  • Speakers discussing their real-world success stories.
  • Breaking up into groups of 5-8 to start working on and formulating a business idea (1 or 2 maverick members are dispatched to assist with each group depending on size)
  • Groups present their business idea for feedback/brainstorming by Maverick panel
  • Maverick Business Adventures® funds start-up capital for best ideas. (This is not a loan or to own a percentage of the business.)
  • Maverick members will coordinate with each group leader to stay in touch with the group on progress via virtual mentoring.

In addition, each of these learning sessions are recorded and will be made available as part of an online learning center accessible to the general public as part of our 2020 mission to empower and engage 1,000,000 young entrepreneurs.

Semi Finals: World Cup

Departing the Branson School in Johannesburg again via private jet you’ll reach Cape Town, home of the semi-final World Cup match, and our home base for the next few days. The group of 32 original teams in the World Cup will now have been reduced down to just 4 hopeful nations. Each one vying, hoping, praying their team can come out victorious in the semi’s to score the ultimate tally in the final match a few nights later.

Imagine walking into 68,000+ frenzied fans with painted faces singing, chanting, waving flags and willing their teams to win. It’s a spectacle that you might not be prepared for – but get ready because you’ll be right in the midst of the whole World Cup experience this night. But that’s still part of it because once a team scores, the excitement level and hysteria will explode up with just one…G---O---A---L---!!!!!

This semi-final will definitely set the tone for the ultimate game, the final match 4 days later but in before then there’s still lots of adventure with the ultimate predator experience…

Great White Shark Encounter & Cage Dive

Imagine coming face-to-face with one of the most unforgettable and terrifying creatures on the planet in their own environment. A close encounter with a Great White shark is something that will be indelibly imprinted in your mind forever.

You don’t have to be a certified diver to participate and 99.9% of the time there will be sharks…most of the time massive ones twice the size of grown men. Just outside Cape Town, you’ll depart from Kleinbaai, which is 2 km along the coast from the village of Gansbaai. A short 5-mile voyage to Dyer Island (also known as Shark Alley) is the spot the captain will drop anchor and being attracting Great Whites.

Our outfitter has worked with National Geographic and Discovery Channel because of their high-level of expertise. In fact, they have a specially-formulated 'Chum' mixture, made from completely legal ingredients, which has taken years to perfect, and is a highly-guarded trade secret.

After the chumming – the real action begins. Don’t worry, if you’re a bit cautious you will have the opportunity to photograph these awe-inspiring animals feeding at the surface, right alongside the boat.

Or, if you’re a true Maverick - this is when you enter the cage! The good news is no experience is required to go into the cage and you do not need to be a certified diver. Your safety is the utmost concern with a 12mm galvanized steel mesh; the sharks cannot get inside (and they don’t even try). The cage floats right next to the boat and is easy to access, so you can climb out at any time.

If your adrenaline fill hasn’t been met yet – there’s an optional excursion for you…

Optional Maverick Extreme Adventure:
Victoria Falls & Rafting the Upper Zambezi

Hailed as the wildest one-day whitewater run in the World, the Zambezi River is known as a top ten paddling destination in the world. Rafters are in awe of this stretch of river that gets more ferocious and turbulent the lower the water level reaches. (Guess what? The wild-water season starts in June through the end of December. Right smack dab when you’ll be there!)

Bordering on Victoria Falls, you’ll feel the earth beneath you rumbling before you reach the mammoth river waiting for you. Victoria falls is one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World laying claim to the ‘largest’ waterfall in the world due to its width of 5,600 ft and height of 360 ft, forming the largest sheet of falling water in the world.

Perfect to deliver this…

White Water Rafting on the Zambezi River in Victoria Falls has been classified as Grade 5. Translation; "extremely difficult, long and violent rapids, steep gradients, big drops and pressure areas". This is the highest level of commercially available whitewater.

There’s numerous, massive rapids from ‘Stairway to Heaven’ with a 26 foot drop within just 33 feet to ‘Oblivion’ known as the quintessential raft toppler, with only one in four rafts make it out intact. It’s been said that this rapid is responsible for flipping the most boats in the world. According to Rough Guide’s “Ultimate Adventures” guide book to adventure travel, this is a 5-star experience for sheer WOW factor!

This is an optional activity with an additional activity fee, lodging and flight. You will staying the night in Victoria Falls and private jet transportation will be provided for members taking part in this optional activity. (Note: Of course, you can opt not to raft the Zambezi and simply visit the majestic Falls if you prefer.)

July 11, 2010
Finals: World Cup

Your epic adventure concludes with either a private jet or chartered flight back to Johannesburg for our marquee Maverick event, the World Cup Finals. Once again you’ll have VIP priority seating for the match the ENTIRE world will be watching. The finals are held in Soccer City Stadium, specially remodeled for the World Cup

The design of the stadium is a calabash, or African pot, was selected as being the most recognizable object to represent what would automatically be associated with the African continent and not any other. The calabash, or ‘melting pot of African cultures’, sits on a raised podium, on top of which is located a ‘pit of fire’. Thus the pot sits in a depression, which is the ‘pit of fire’, as if it were being naturally fired.

But with 94,000 crazed fans around you – there’s not a good chance you won’t be taking in the amazing architecture. You’ll be fully immersed in the ultimate sporting event’s fervor and action ultimately crowning a new world champion. And don’t expect the celebration to end early that night putting the final exclamation point on an amazing adventure you won’t soon forget.

The Business Side Of Things…

As with every Maverick Business Adventures® experience - there’s really work to be done and this kind of intense journey creates friendships and life-long bonds. You can expect:

  • Big-League connections and deal making. Because you’re here with other like-minded, big-dreaming, forward-thinking entrepreneurs and business people, you feel a kinship and a shared spirit … and have no trouble at all finding new ideas or that much-need partner. You won’t know till you get here who you’ll find … but due to our strict qualification process, you’re assured of spending your time here with only the most successful entrepreneurs – each with “the right attitude”. And since we’re all here looking for ways to push our businesses to the next level and beyond, you’re never more than a glance away from some high-level brainstorming and a possible “next big deal”. Our Maverick Business Adventures® always bring together such a varied mix of backgrounds and perspectives … it’s like a fresh shot of DNA injected into the Business Gene Pool!
  • Powerful (but relaxed and informal) business-building sessions throughout the adventure. We’ll gather to share ideas, help each other work out challenges, brainstorm new opportunities, and swap resources … all in the strictest confidentiality. (In fact, every member will sign an agreement to keep everything discussed confidential!) And since some of the biggest breakthroughs occur when ideas are borrowed from one industry and applied to another, any member not participating in the discussion will be … “dis-invited”. Leveraging the power of this “brain trust” can accelerate your business growth many times over!

Lifetime Memories

Have a permanent record of your adventure for posterity – Our goal at Maverick Business Adventures® is to create the kind of experience you can’t stop talking about for years to come … and memories that last a lifetime and beyond! That’s why we always bring in a professional video producer to document everything for you.

Following the trip you will be presented a professionally-produced DVD montage of your days and nights in Africa… PLUS a beautiful hard-cover album filled with photographs from this one-of-a-kind adventure. Imagine the reaction your friends will have when you come back and show them photos and videos of your incredible experience.

Plus, you’ll also get recordings from the business side of the trip. You’ll get recordings of the “What’s working” idea-sharing sessions, group discussions and more. This exclusive information will be something you can return to over and over again and share with your team to grow your bottom line!

Okay and now the price…

I could say “free” but you might laugh – however it’s easy to say considering one high-level connection, deal or business partner would pay you back in spades. I’ve heard countless stories from members about multiple six-figure (even 7-figure deals) that have been struck because of the close bonds created on a Maverick adventure. But you know that already.

Your price for Epic South African Safari & World Cup Maverick Excursion is $29,800.

I realize this may seem “expensive” at first blush. But quite frankly, with the World Cup every single thing in South Africa is at an ultra premium. To put pricing in prospective here’s a package price for just 4 days in Johannesburg with only the Finals match included. No Safari, no private jet travel, etc. The cost would be $11,850 x 2 = $23,700 for 2 people at 4-star hotel.

Your fee includes private jet travel from each destination within South Africa for scheduled activities. (The only leg that may not be a private charter is Cape Town to Johannesburg for the finals and if this occurs the cost per person will be reduced.) It also includes nearly every meals during the entire trip and all alcoholic beverages at Ulusaba. Luxury accommodations (single occupancy except for Ulusaba which is only double-occupancy.) Safari guides, trackers and transportation between matches, transfers, etc.

(Optional Maverick Extreme activities will incur an additional charge. The flight to Victoria Falls & Zambezi River will incur separate private jet fee and lodging).

Remember, just one good idea, one new resource or one powerful connection would easily pay for this trip 10x over! And since the trip is legitimately a tax deduction (ask your accountant) your cost is significantly less in REAL dollars

“Last Minute” Cancellation Insurance Available

There’s no doubt as busy and successful entrepreneurs our schedules can change overnight – that’s why we typically include ‘Last Minute’ cancellation insurance for any reason. However, because of the relatively higher cost of this unique experience versus our typical trips we are making the insurance optional. If you would like to purchase the policy to cover accident, baggage, trip cancellation and interruption protection that allows you to cancel at any time for medical, health or business reasons – it is an additional $1,600. (We do not mark this up in anyway.)

If you believe a last-minute schedule conflict arises — you may want to take the coverage. (We’ve had several members use this at the last-minute and saved them from forfeiting their payments.)

So the final question is:
“Are you going to be a part of this epic experience?”

Unfortunately, there’s nearly zero time to waste and must get your firm commitment before the final 1 spot is taken. (Remember, you can always cancel using the optional ‘Last Minute’ cancellation insurance if something comes up.) I wish we had more time to think it over but the situation with World Cup requires immediate action or else we will be shut out!

Payment Due Dates:

$12,500 due immediately
$17,300 for final payment due by JANUARY 1, 2010

We can only accept wire transfer or check for payment

By any measuring stick, Africa is truly a world apart offering an exceptional experience. But add to it the World Cup fever that comes around once every 4 years plus the luxury Safari, optional diving with Great White sharks and rafting raging class V rapids on the Zambezi river – and this truly becomes the ultimate thrilling Maverick experience (at least for now anyway).

I hope to see you there.

All the best,

Yanik Silver, Founder

P.S. Quite frankly, nobody looks back on their life and wishes they had spent more time at the office. Your life is quite literally the sum of your experiences. A collection of rich experiences equals a rich life! This is your chance to create the kind of memories and friendships that will stay with you forever! And to form the stories you'll tell for years and years to come! It's up to you

Additional Q & A

Q. Why is it so “expensive”?
A. The World Cup only occurs once every 4 years (and never before in Africa) so absolutely everything is at a premium. Plus, we are including private jet travel, safari at Sir Richard Branson’s Private game reserve, business sessions, special soccer icon guest and more to make this an ultimate epic experience. Compared to other commercial packages you could pay $20,000+ just for a few days in Johannesburg and 2 tickets to only the final match of World Cup. And this doesn’t give you priority 1 VIP tickets to both the semi’s and finals. (As I mentioned before we are not even marking up the tickets on penny from our authorized FIFA supplier.)

Q. Can a spouse or companion come?
A. Absolutely – Because of the nature of this trip please contact our office for the rate. It will depend on if they are attending World Cup matches and Ulusaba for the Safari.

Q. What kind of shape do I need to be in to participate?
A. As long as you are in moderate shape this adventure should not be a problem. As with any activity -- it's a good idea to check in with your physician.

Q. Can I bring my laptop, cell phone, iPhone, blackberry, etc to stay in touch with the office?
A. You can if you like, however we cannot guarantee coverage in Africa. In fact, this is the perfect time to truly disconnect and re-energize yourself when you come back to the office.
